Panto fan Joe Purdy with the cast of Aladdin at Lancaster. See SWNS story SWPANTO; A Christmas-obsessed man has spent the festive period touring the country to achieve his dream of seeing a staggering 100 PANTOMIMES. Jolly Joe Purdy, 23, got hooked on the slapstick comedies as a child and for the last four years has made it his aim to see as many shows as he can. This season he upped his game and by the end of the month will have packed in a whopping 22 shows around his full-time job - at a cost of around £2,000. Panto producers who have heard about his mission were so impressed by his dedication he has been invited backstage to meet the cast at almost every venue this year.
