Popular Morecambe cafe featured in ITV's The Bay is back in business
A popular Morecambe cafe made famous in ITV’s The Bay crime drama has reopened on Morecambe promenade.
The Beach cafe at West End Gardens featured in series 2 of The Bay when Abbie gets a job at the glass-fronted cafe with great views over the bay.
The cafe, which closed in January, is now back up and running serving drinks and snacks – with Tuck at the helm.
Tuck opened in the former Mad Hunter restaurant on Meeting House Lane in Lancaster in 2023, and they are now running Beach in Morecambe alongside their cafe in Lancaster.
Opening hours for Beach are Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and Sundays 10am to 3pm.
The seafront café has been leased out to private operators since 2008 and is owned by Lancaster City Council.
