Mark Halstead was the latest player to be sidelined, forcing the club to bring in Reading keeper Jokull Andresson on an emergency seven-day loan deal.
It also meant Halstead joined Kelvin Mellor, Harry Davis, Alex Kenyon, Aaron Wildig, A-Jay Leitch-Smith and Blackburn Rovers loanee Brad Lyons in being unavailable.

Hide AdHowever, those who could be called upon justified their selections as the Shrimps made it 10 games without defeat at the Mazuma Stadium.
“Being without so many players shows how many strong players we’ve got,” Adams said.
“The players are in confident mood and you see that on the field.”
