Two new shops set to open in Morecambe’s Arndale

Two clothes shops are opening in Morecambe’s Arndale Centre in May.

A women’s clothes shop is opening in the shopping centre on May 1.

Netty’s, which has six stalls in Festival Market, made an official announcement that they were leaving the market earlier this month to open in the Arndale.

A shop assistant said on Facebook: “Annette’s shop was set up two and a half years ago with just one stall but she has built it and built it to now have six stalls.

"We are really busy and it’s a great business, but as much as we love working in the market we want to be able to sell more and open more so at the end of April our time is coming to an end here at Festival Market.

"The good news is we are moving into a shop where we can open seven days a week. As of May 1 we will be in the Arndale Centre, in the shop which used to be Shoe Zone.

"We’ve got plenty of space to put all our lovely clothes and its only going to get bigger and better.”

A baby clothes and accessories shop called Baby Eden will be opening its doors on Saturday May 2 at 21 Royalty Mall in the Arndale.

A spokesman for Morecambe BID who posted about Baby Eden said: “The shop will be offering a mix of new and preloved children’s clothes and accessories, alongside strollers and reborn baby dolls, it’s a lovely addition to the town centre—perfect for families and those looking for something a little special.

“It’s always great to see new independent businesses opening in Morecambe and bringing something different to our retail offer.

“Wishing Baby Eden every success as they get ready to open.”
