Double shot of live comedy lands at Lancaster’s The Borough
The acclaimed Lancaster Comedy Club returns to its home at The Borough on Saturday October 24.
Booked by veteran promoters Comedy In A Van, the highly anticipated night will splits into two standalone, high-octane showcases—an early show at 7pm and a late show at 9pm.
Staged in the rather bouji Georgian Drawing Room of this historic city-centre pub, each show is packed with pure, unadulterated stand-up comedy.
The October lineup brings together two heavyweight circuit veterans alongside one of the UK’s most dynamically gifted comperes:

*Raul Kohli serving as host, the self-confessed 'Newcastle Brown Male' has earned five-star acclaim from The Guardian. Known for his appearances on Channel 4 and Amazon Prime, Kohli delivers a blistering mix of superb political comedy and surreal storytelling.
*Steve Gribbin: A musical comedy icon and legendary Glastonbury Festival veteran. Renowned for razor-sharp topical satire, his high-energy performance is praised by The Independent for "pulling it off with real aplomb."
*Alistair Barrie: A London Comedy Store regular and international headliner who has performed across 40 countries. The Cape Town Argus describes his biting wit as "sharp as a guillotine blade."
"We are thrilled to bring a line-up of this calibre to the heart of the city," said a spokesperson from Comedy In A Van.

"Steve Gribbin and Alistair Barrie are masters of their craft, and with Raul Kohli steering the ship, both the 7pm and 9pm crowds are in for an unforgettable night of comedy.
"Because each room is fully seated and intimate, tickets never stick around for long.”
Tickets are £16.50 per show. Strictly 18+ only.
