Pye Motors Group is expanding its business in Morecambe as they celebrate their 101st year in business.

Signs have gone up in the former Honda garage showrooms on Northgate, White Lund Industrial Estate, saying ‘Pye Motors Lepas opening here, recruiting now, pyemotors.co.uk’

Pye Motors managing director and founder’s grandson Nick Payne said: “We have recently purchased two showrooms just off the Bay Gateway on the White Lund Industrial Estate in Morecambe – actually buying back the very land we sold in 1995! These buildings will house our (joining our successful Barrow location) and introduce, another stablemate from the Chery, Omoda, and Jaecoo family.

"Both brands bring packed with innovation vehicles, seven year warranties, and fantastic value choices for North Lancashire customers just in time for the busy September plate change.

"Beginning this month, September, we are launching Kendal Geely on Mint Bridge Industrial Estate in a newly renovated building.

"We carefully chose this site and worked alongside Trevor Dodgson of D4 Developments to bring exacting Geely brand standards to life.

"Geely, the firm behind Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus, features an impressive lineup starting just north of £20,000, offering plug-in hybrid and full EV options with an eight year warranty as standard.

“We are transforming our existing Kendal site to become our second Omoda and Jaecoo dealership.
