Brian Jensen (79) raised £1,224 for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation by taking the Irish Sea as his reference point and cycling 498.5 miles from his home in Morecambe through the five countries bordering it. Over the 10 days it took in 2019, he was accompanied by 63-year-old former history teacher Simon Millward-Hopkins, from Preston.
