Tenants of village pub near Morecambe announce departure
The tenants of a village pub near Morecambe have announced they are to leave.
Adele and Stuart Mill reopened The Globe at Overton in April 2025, but have now said they are to leave in the new year.
“It's with a heavy heart that we announce that we will be leaving the Globe at the end of January 2027,” they posted on Facebook.
“We have had a fabulous time and would like to thank all our lovely customers for their support, friendship and laughs over the past 18 months.”
They said there will be plenty of popular events coming up at the Main Street pub, although there will be a slight change to their usual winter opening hours.
From November 14 they will open at 4.30pm on a Saturday – all other days will stay the same.
