The Northern Ireland Under 21 international has initially joined The Shrimps for a month having spent the first half of the season on loan with Scottish Championship side St Mirren.
Shrimps boss Jim Bentley said: “We’ve wanted to get competition in all areas, financially we’re struggling a bit, but this kid is highly recommended.
“I’ve seen bits of him. He’s played up in Scotland with St Mirren for the first half of the season.
“He’s a Northern Ireland Under 21 international so he’s got good pedigree and is a good player.
“We’ll look forward to seeing what he’s all about and hopefully he’ll get into the team and do well.”
