A renowned furniture store, run by the same family for over 121 years, is offering summer sale bargains across its range.
Stollers has been supplying sofas, dining sets, beds, home accessories and more to homes around Barrow-in-Furness for 121 years. Run by the fifth generation of the family, it is proud to be at the heart of the community and have earned the trust and custom of decades of people in and around the town.

“We understand buying new furniture is a big decision and people need to think carefully about where they spend their money,” she said. As one of the areas largest independent employers – over 70 people work here, Eden says every penny spent supports the local economy.

This support includes multiple fundraising events, each one raising over £20,000 for St Mary's Hospice in Ulverston, an incredible charity that provides vital care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across South Cumbria. The store has another one lined up for this October.
“Only around one per cent of family businesses make it through five generations. It’s something to be proud of and it’s definitely special,” said Eden, who works alongside several family members from across the generations. These include her dad, Lee Stoller, and mum, Catherine Stoller, who are both directors. Eden and her sister Didi, are fifth generation, and grandad David still comes in several days a week to oversee the lighting department and help move the business forward.
She says they are committed to the same family values and same great service, quality and customer care that has been at the core of the business from the start.

With a nostalgic revival of interest in mid-century furniture the iconic G-Plan range, which has always been part of Stollers’ offering, is more popular than ever. Alongside its current upholstered range of sofas and chairs, they are also stocking a range of dining sets and cabinets.
Green has been a hugely popular colour for soft furnishings and sofas, and that trend is continuing. Big colours and bold accents are the order of the day when it comes to cushions and fabrics and Eden says she is seeing colour combinations like sky or Royal blues teamed with contrasting oranges increasing in popularity, away from more muted greys and neutrals.
