However, there are still some locations you can travel to from the UK which (at the time of publishing) have not yet confirmed any cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus strain.

Please note that this situation could quickly change, so it is important to keep up to date with British and international travel advice.

Countries with no cases of coronavirus

Malta, Bulgaria and Cyprus currently have no reported cases. Lanzarote is one of few Spanish islands to be unaffected - with no cases in Ibiza or Fuerteventura either.

The countries in question are all closely monitoring the situation, and will issue any updates or travel restrictions if necessary.

Further afield, Turkey and Cape Verde do not yet have any confirmed coronavirus cases.

What is the current official travel advice?

The UK government has not yet issued travel restrictions for every country with reported cases.

Currently, the Foreign Office says all travel to the Hubei Province should be avoided, as well as advising against "all but essential travel" to the rest of mainland China, Daegu and Cheongdo, South Korea,10 small towns in the Lombardy region and one in the Veneto region of Italy.

Several countries are reporting a huge drop in tourism numbers - something which could be devastating for countries with economies relying heavily on the industry.
