New Lancaster Aldi set to open soon as supermarket advertises job roles

The new Aldi store on the former B&Q site in Aldcliffe Road is nearing completion, and is due to open in July.

The supermarket received planning permission to demolish the B&Q building in June last year.

It will have 98 parking spaces and will be open from 8am to 11pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 6pm on Sundays.

It will be the fourth store to open in the Lancaster district.

A spokeswoman for the supermarket said it is now looking for 21 store assistants and four deputy store managers to work in its Carnforth, Morecambe, Lancaster and new Aldcliffe Road stores.
