Morecambe roads to close as more filming to take place for ITV drama The Bay

ITV has been filming series 6 around Morecambe in recent months, and the crews will be back in town on Thursday July 30 for another day’s shoot.

The filming means road closures will be put in place while the cameras roll.

Marine Road West, Heysham Road and Sandylands will be shut to through traffic from 11am until 2.30pm that day.

Buses and HGVs will still be able to get through, and residents and businesses will be looked after via marshal points, with diversions signed locally.
