Possibly Lancaster's oldest pub, the cellar at The Three Mariners is excavated at the first floor, and offers a large selection of craft and cask beer.

A converted wine merchants' cellar built in 1688, The Merchants is a peaceful haven right in the centre of the city, offering regularly changing beers in a unique environment.
