The musical Kinky Boots is being performed by the Morecambe Warblers at The Grand in Lancaster this week.
Based on the 2005 British film Kinky Boots, the musical tells the story of Charlie Price who having inherited a shoe factory from his father, forms an unlikely partnership with cabaret performer and drag queen Lola to produce a line of high-heeled boots and save the business.
In the process, Charlie and Lola discover that they are not so different after all.
Photographer Joshua Brandwood went along to the opening night to take these fabulous pictures of the cast giving their all and he gave the show a massive thumbs up.
"All I can say is, wow what an incredible show!" said Joshua.
"I was completely blown away by the outstanding cast and stunning set design.
“The storyline was packed with emotion and the production felt like it belonged on the West End or Broadway."
Joshua added: "Anyone who has the chance to see it is in for an absolute treat.”
Morecambe Warblers will be performing Kinky Boots at The Grand until Saturday (September 28). Performances are 7.30pm each evening with a Saturday matinee performance at 2pm.
