Cross bay walk to raise funds for children in war-torn countries

Join a cross bay walk to raise money for children suffering from the conflicts in Gaza and Syria.

Morecambe Cross Bay Madness takes place this Sunday, June 21, setting out at 9am from Arnside.

Participants will be donning funky t-shirts, old trainers and parading plaques and flags across the bay to show support for children in wartorn countries.

The walk will take approximately three and a half hours and will be finishing at Kents Bank.

Eco Plastic Samba band will be playing along the walk and there are prizes for best fancy dress costumes.

There are also prizes for the most sponsors collected.

All proceeds go to M.A.P (Medical Aid for Palestinians) and UNICEF’s Syria Appeal.

Cedric Robinson will be guiding walkers across the bay.
