Kilifin joins Workington after leaving Lancaster City

Former Lancaster City striker Tom Kilifin has signed for Workington.

The front man had been announced as a new recruit by City’s Evo-Stik First Division North rivals Clitheroe but was at the Reds’ opening pre-season traning session on Thursday night.

Kilifin, who has also had spells at Kendal Town, joins amongst others former Dolly Blues midfielder Rob Wilson at Borough Park.

Former Morecambe youngster Joe McGee has also committed his future to the Reds after a standout season, the attacking midfielder scoring 11 goals in 51 games as the club reached the Evo-Stik Premier Division play-off final last season, losing to Salford City.
