Athletics: Georgia in top form as GB win gold
Georgia Hannam, 17, represented Great Britain at the youth international in Solihull.
Competing in the U19 age group Georgia fenced against some of the best pentathletes from Ireland, Germany, Egypt, Spain, Portugal,Croatia,Sweden and the USA, winning 10 out of the 30 matches.

Hide AdShe then had to swim 200m taking the fifth fastest swim of the day.
Last up was the combined event where the athletes had to shoot five targets followed by an 800m run repeated four times.
Setting off on the combined event Georgia was 70 seconds behind first place and ranked seventh GB athlete.
A very strong run along with a fast shoot the second fastest combined time of the day, moved Georgia up to seventh place overall, second GB. Georgia along with team mates Kerenza Bryson and Olivia Green took the gold team medal.

Hide AdLast weekend also saw four of COLT juniors travel to Clitheroe to compete in the North West regional Biathlon/Triathlon and Tetrathlon.
Holly Satterly, 13, competed in the Biathlon taking first place overall.
Larissa Hannam, 12, competed in the U15 Tetrathlon where she swam a new personal best, taking fourth place.
Shea Hannam, 15, competed in the U17, taking fastest swim, best fence and fastest combined in his age group.
Georgia Hannam also won her respective age group taking fastest swim, best fence and fastest combined.
