Trial date set for Morecambe man
A man is to go on trial charged with historic sex offences dating back to the 1960s.
Michael Anthony Mayers, 63, of Richmond Avenue, Morecambe, is alleged to have committed a total of 15 sex offences against two young girls on numerous dates between 1969 and 1974.
Mr Mayers is due to appear at Preston Crown Court for trial by a jury on October 27.
