Chimney fire at house in Lancaster

Fire crews from Lancaster were called to Lymm Avenue at 7.43pm on March 31 and found the chimney well alight.

The crews used chimney rods and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

No one was injured and firefighters will be returning to the scene to inspect the chimney.
