Lost-At-Sea Books is moving into new premises at Victoria Street, bringing its range of affordable books from the market into the heart of town.

For proprietor Christopher Wood, the move marks an important milestone after a quarter of a century trading locally, while maintaining the character, variety and affordability that have made Lost-At-Sea Books familiar to generations of customers.

The shelves are packed with something for almost every reader, including thrillers, classic literature, children's books, colouring books and titles covering a wide variety of subjects and genres. With a mixture of both brand new and second hand books, the stock is constantly changing and growing.

The move to Victoria Street also brings a new collaboration between Christopher and Morecambe-based philosopher, cultural commentator, author and broadcaster S. C. Sayles.

Sayles has spent almost five decades studying and writing across philosophy, biblical studies, hermeneutics, metaphysics, theology, cosmology and information theory. Beginning his studies in 1977, he went on to produce hundreds of books, essays and academic papers, much of which remained unpublished for decades. Only in recent years has his extensive body of work begun to be released publicly.

The collaboration has resulted in a dedicated collection of Sayles' books at the new Victoria Street shop., the only physical bookshop officially stocking signed copies of Sayles' works, giving readers the opportunity to browse and purchase the books locally rather than solely through online outlets.

To mark the opening of the new Victoria Street shop, signed hardback editions of Sayles' books will, for a limited period and while stocks last, be available at paperback prices.
