Lancaster/Manchester-based psychedelic-garage-rockers Three Dimensional Tanx play their first local show of the year this weekend at The Yorkshire House.

The band has just released a free download six track mini-album of live tracks on their Bandcamp page. There will be just five limited edition physical CD copies on sale on the night.

Also on the bill on Saturday, March 28, are Lancaster’s Super Fire Pony, recently seen playing at the benefit for Lancaster Musicians Co-op. They play “ambient psyche drone spaceblues postrock metal funk improv noise”. Opening up the live music is a solo member of Manchester band Gnod called Arhkh who “aims to explore the relationship between, sound, vision and meditative states using slow burning vocal loops, drone manipulations, rhythmic pulses and various sounds to create scoping deserted internal panoramas of brooding, devotional mindscapes.”

Entry is £3, from 8.30pm.
