Secret Sisters’ Library gig

AMERICAN country-rock duo The Secret Sisters are heading to Lancaster library next month for an exclusive gig.

Alabama sisters Laura and Lydia Rogers have been taking the music world by storm with their blend of bluegrass, country and roots music, and will perform at the Get it Loud in Libraries event, on June 22.

The girls, who rose to fame within months of their first concert, were signed up to play at the library after sending concerts organiser Stewart Parsons a demo tape.

“They are an unusual act for us but they sent me a demo a while ago and they sounded really good,” Stewart said.
