The stage was set for Carnforth Carnival as thousands gathered to mark its comeback after 20 years.
The event, sponsored by The Bay Radio, welcomed many visitors from across the district on Saturday.
A carnival parade kicked things off at 1pm from Market Street, followed by the Royal Carnforth crowning.
Live music begun on Carnforth High School playing field at 4pm.
The line-up included “Britain’s Got Talent” winner Jai McDowall, Henry Gallagher, Amy-Jo Clough, Kitty Brucknell, Danny Dearden, Josh Taylor, Megan S, Disctracted, Ben Montague, Mr Zip, Ashleigh Wood, Stuart Michaels, Chris Atkinson and David and James. Carnforth’s Got Talent finalists and Jennifers’ dancers also entertained crowds.
