Lithuania’s top rock band The Skys will perform three nights in Lancaster this weekend as part of a North West tour.

The five piece band - featuring Jonas Čiurlionis on vocals and lead guitar, Božena Buinicka on keyboards and vocals, Aleksandr Liutvinskij on rhythm guitar, Justinas Tamaševičius on bass and Ilja Molodcov on drums - were awarded Best International Band at New York International Music Festival.

As well as performing at Fylde Rock and Roots Festival on June 19, they’ll also be playing the Penny Bank tonight, Thursday June 19 from 9pm, the Dalton Rooms on Saturday June 20, from 8.30pm, and the John O’ Gaunt on Sunday, June 21, from 9pm.

Lancaster Music Festival founder Ben Ruth’s company CME Artist Services has booked the band to play.

Ben said: “To see this band in an intimate venue is extraordinary.”
