There are nine spaces available including a spot for a talented drummer to join, too.

The community of steel pan players formed in 2007 when they were fortunate enough to be awarded a grant by Awards for All.

This enabled them to buy a full set of steel pans.

They play music of all types and genres.

Pantabulous meet every Wednesday in term-time, from 6.30pm-7.30pm at Bowerham Primary School sports hall and sessions are £4 per week.

Pantabulous has been heard at various events and festivals around the North West so if you like the idea of potential gigs in a unique ensemble, then join them.

They have been working with youth music charity More Musicto broaden their opportunities with their festival programme.

So, if you fancy trying your hand at a new instrument; feel relaxed and have fun with music players, then Pantabulous could be the ensemble for you.

You don’t even need to know how to read music.

To find out how to get involved, then head over to www.pantabulous.com for information and contact details, or email Beverley Kain at [email protected].
