Latino blues guitar band Lava are splitting up, with a final show at the Gregson Centre on October 13.
The band play their final set as a farewell to friends, and will celebrate the music of Lava, with special guests, as well as raising money for Cancercare.
Frontman and guitar virtuoso Howard Haigh said: “If you’ve never seen us then this is your last chance.
“And if you are an old fan then this is an opportunity to enjoy hearing us once more before we pursue new projects.”
We’ll play old faves as well as a few newer tunes. Time to dance the Rumba, clap and shake, tremble and quake, and blaze the night away with the classic blend of Flamenco, funk, salsa, blues/jazz inspired music.”
Entry is £5/3 conc, and doors open at 8.30pm.
The gig forms part of the city wide Lancaster Music Festival,from October 11 - 13.
