Infectious beats and visual spectacle will combine when highly-acclaimed band, The Dhol Foundation, take to the stage at The Dukes in May.

One of the most sought-after Dhol and Bhangra groups in the UK, The Dhol Foundation’s shows feature a vast array of musical styles, from hip-hop to bhangra, and from tabla to drum and bass.

Such is their reputation, the band opened the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006, the Live Earth concert in 2007, and have performed numerous times at the WOMAD festival worldwide.

Their music has also been featured in Hollywood blockbusters such as Gangs of New York, and the band have worked on other film soundtracks with Peter Gabriel.
