The annual festival which is a much-loved highlight of Morecambe’s summer calendar organised by More Music in Morecambe, was supported by Morecambe Business Improvement District (BID) which enabled the festival to spread towards the town centre with additional performances, kite making workshops and spectacular display kites on Central Beach.

As well as the impressive kites flown by professional kite flyers, children and adults could bring their own kites to fly on the beach.

There was live music, art and music workshops, street entertainment and bands, a funfair, storytellers, stalls, festival food and even a magical pop-up gallery called The Fishing Hut.
