Bestselling author Nicholas Sparks’ latest offering slowly unravels as a tale of two couples whose parallel stories collide in profound and unexpected ways.

The novel opens with 91-year-old Ira Levinson, who is trapped in his car with his life ebbing away after a crash.

Struggling to stay conscious, he focuses on an image of his adored and long-dead wife Ruth who urges him to hang on.

The hours tick by as the pair lovingly recount the joys and sorrows of their life together.

A few miles away, college student Sophia Danko’s life is about to change forever.

Recovering from a break-up, she meets young and rugged bull-riding cowboy, Luke.

With Luke, Sophia begins to see a new future for herself but Luke is keeping a secret that could destroy it all.

The Fox Film Corporation have already started adapting the novel for release on Valentine’s Day 2015.

This will be Sparks’ ninth novel to make the big screen with others including Dear John starring Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum and The Notebook which won eight Teen Choice Awards, a Satellite Award and a MTV Movie Award. The 2004 film went on to gain a cult following.

John Sparks’ new epic love story pulls at the heartstrings and will win over anyone with a soft heart.
