Debbie Butler sorting through books for the sale

I’ve been busy this week sorting through all the books that readers, friends and colleagues have kindly given me for my book sale on Saturday.

I’ll be setting up my stall in the Arndale Centre early on Saturday morning with the sale starting at 10.30am until around 4.30pm.

My mum, Sandra, will be giving me a helping hand and we’re looking forward to hopefully selling lots of books.

The more books we get rid of the more money we raise for The Visitor and Lancaster Guardian’s Save Our Hospice appeal so please come along and have a browse.

I’ve got a great selection of secondhand books in excellent condition frommany genres.

There are crime books, thrillers, romances, children’s and autobiographies to name just some.

I do not require any
more books for my sale but the St John’s Hospice shops
or the hospice itself are always grateful for your donations.

Here’s to a successful sale on Saturday and let’s hope we raise a nice, healthy sum for this very worthy cause.

See you there...
