The Lancaster theatre welcomes back the Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory company with their latest productions - Hamlet and All’s Well That Ends Well.

Last year’s Tobacco Factory production of Romeo and Juliet went down a storm at The Dukes. The lead actor, Paapa Essiedu, is currently playing Hamlet for the RSC in Stratford Upon Avon and appeared alongside Sir Ian McKellan, Dame Judi Dench, David Tennant, Benedict Cumberbatch and Prince Charles in a Shakespeare Live broadcast on BBC2.

The Tobacco Factory’s Hamlet will be presented on May 10-13 and there will be two performances of All’s Well That Ends Well on May 13 and 14. Both will be staged in The Round so the audience get close to all the action.

One of the most famous plays ever written, Hamlet is a drama exploring madness, politics, sex, murder and the human condition. No two productions of this enthralling story are ever alike and you can discover more about this particular version at the post show talkback on May 10.

All’s Well is a romantic comedy which belongs to its women – the central character of Helen and the extraordinary Countess of Rossillion, her guardian and mother to her object of desire.

Tickets are priced £12.50-£18.50. All tickets for matinees and morning performance are £9. Balcony tickets are £5. To book call 01524 598500.
