There were mixed fortunes for district fighters on a big bill in Blackpool on Friday night.
Morecambe’s Isaac Lowe moved to 6-0 with a dominant points victory over Kristian Laight but Bentham light heavyweight Tomi Tatham tasted defeat for the first time in his professional career.
Featherweight Lowe produced a near punch perfect display to extend his undefeated record with ease.
It was a different story for Tatham however, whose record slipped to 5-1 as Sheffield’s Lee Duncan, from the city’s famous Ingle Gym, won a six-round points verdict 59-56.
Elsewhere on the VIP Promotions card, Haroon Khan, younger brother of Bolton’s two-weight world champion Amir, was an emphatic four-round points victor over Bulgarian Stefan Slavchev.
