Lancaster Tennis Club welcomed youngsters from as far afield as Leeds for their annual open junior tournament.
Twenty-eight juniors were competing for the under 10s, 12s and 14s titles with players from local clubs Bowerham, Lunesdale and Slyne also taking part.
Rising star Jacob Orr, from the host club, beat classmate Filip Stuchlik in the final of the under 10s.
Both Dallas Road Primary School boys had won all their matches prior to the final and it was an exciting contest down to the last point.
Orr was also runner up in the under 12s, losing to talented 12-year-old Zachary Dobney from Leeds.
In the under 14s the final between Tom Bowe, 14, from Lancaster Royal Grammar School, and Matthew Barlow, also 14, from Whalley, was keenly contested with the Lancaster Tennis Club youngster eventually sealing a tense three-set win.
Tournament sponsor, Ken Riley, the 85-year-old veteran tennis and table tennis star, presented the trophies to the winners.
