Tennis: Bowe and Noden have Good Friday

Eight pairs continued into the knock-out quarter final stage in the Good Friday Tournament at Lancaster Tennis Club.

After close semi finals, the finalists were Nick Higham (Slyne) and Helen Kearns (Lancaster) against Chris Bowe (Lancaster) and Michelle Noden (Bowerham).

It was a closely fought set with Michelle and Chris emerging the winners, 6-4.

Over £50 was raised for club funds on the day.
