Squash: Constabulary lay down the law
Vale's first team suffered at the hands of the law in their latest match in the North West Counties Squash League.
The Powderhouse Lane first team lost 4-1 at home to Lancashire Constabulary 1, currently second in Division Four North. Only John Lambert racked up a victory and he was taken to 3-2 by his opponent.
Players at two, three and four all went down 3-0 with only Stuart Featon, stepping up from Vale 2, taking a game.

Hide AdVale 1 are currently fifth out of nine teams. Vale 2 had been scheduled to face Lancon 2 at police headquarters but could not raise a team due to a combination of injuries, the promotion of Stuart Featon to the first team, and the currently small pool of available players.
