Sensational Sophie is record breaker
Sophie Casson of Carnforth Otters competed at the ASA National Masters and Senior Age Group Championships 2015 at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.
With a phenomenal time of 4:15.04, Sophie broke the 30/34 years age group 400m freestyle world record, finishing almost 30 seconds ahead of second place.
This incredible performance was even more impressive as Sophie underwent surgery on her shoulder earlier this year.
This is the second time that she has broken a world record having taken the 25/29 years 400m freestyle record in 2013.
