Morecambe’s Oliver Hirst-Greenham is named in the England Golf 2026/27 National Disability Performance Squad

Morecambe golfer’s fine year has been rewarded with England Golf squad selection.

Oliver Hirst-Greenham is one of 16 players named in England Golf’s 2026/27 National Disability Performance Squad.

The 16 players are divided across four performance bands, which England Golf says will help inform team and selection decisions.

That banding structure has been established by the European Disabled Golf Association (EDGA), with players earning selection through the organisation’s qualification criteria.

England Golf National Disability Coach Adam Keogh said: “Building on the success of our inaugural England Golf Disability Squad in 2025/26, we’re excited to begin the next chapter with our 2026/27 squad.

“It’s fantastic to welcome back a number of players while also introducing some new faces who have earned their place in the programme.

“England Golf’s continued commitment to the Disability Performance Pathway has enabled us not only to expand the squad but also strengthen our support team.

“The addition of Jordan Massey as Putting Coach and Fiona Scott as S&C Coach brings further expertise that will be invaluable in helping our players develop and perform at their best.

“There is real momentum behind the programme and we’re looking forward to another year of progress, development and success.”

Hirst-Greenham has been placed in band four, alongside Tom Blizzard (Droitwich), Ellie Perks (Hagley) and Bethany Charlton (Matlock).

The Morecambe golfer’s selection comes after a year in which he was part of the England Golf Disability Team, which won the 2026 European Team Championship for Golfers with Disability for the first time.

He also won the 2026 English Disability Open, was chosen to represent Team Europe at the Cairns Cup in Spain and finished third at the Irish Open for Players with Disabilities.
