Along with team mates Connor Cummins and Steve Mercer, the Morecambe Missile’s Honda-supported Superstock team were running in third place during the early stages.

However a gear selection issue with their machine brought their 24-hour race to a premature finish.

The team retired just after 6am on Sunday morning when in 21st place.
