Lancaster speed ski star Jan Farrell sits eighth in the World Cup standings after the latest round in Canada.
After a disappointing first event in Andorra Farrell placed seventh and 12th in the two S1 races at the Sun Peaks resort.
Madrid-based Farrell, last year’s World Cup FIS SDH 2014 winner who is making his debut in S1 this year, said: “I’m satisfied with my results.
“They show a good development following my entry into this category.
“During qualification runs and semi-finals I had better times, even close to the podium with a fourth place, but I still lack consistency.
“These results give me strength and motivation for next season, where I hope to be fighting for positions on the podium.
“I know the speed is there.”
The World Cup circuit heads to Idre Fjaell, Sweden, for the next round this weekend, March 21 and 22.
