Lancaster City Swimming and Water Polo Club joined another 28 teams at the Manchester Festival.
The Salt Ayre based club entered two teams, an under 14s and a under 12s side.
The older team, a mixture of 13 and 14-year-old boys and girls, came from behind to beat Rotherham 6-5 in their first game before a 12-5 win over Tyldesley and a 12-1 thrashing of Welsh Wanderers B.
Lancaster kept up their fine run with an 11-1 victory over ORCA to set up a semi-final with Warrington which the city side won 7-4.
Bolton School were the opponents in the final, a Lancaster equaliser 13 seconds from time sending a topsy-turvy game to penalties where Lancaster kept their nerve to run out victors.
The under 12s team followed in the footsteps of the older players by winning their first three games in the morning, beating Hucknull 13-0, Warrington 5-3 and Merseyside 12-0.
The afternoon brought Lancaster’s solitary loss of the day, 4-3 to Clontarf.
The Salt Ayre club bounced back with a 6-5 win over Northampton to set up a match with Manchester Ardwick for fifth which they duly won 3-0.
