Colin Stephenson is definitely delivering on his promise to make the 2016 road racing season his best yet.
Hard work both on and off the track was demonstrated by the Heysham man’s brace of podiums and top-five results at the Southern 100.
Like its famous neighbour, the Castletown track in the Isle of Man requires both rider and machine to be at their best.
During the week long festival Colin recorded two seconds, a third and a fifth place, mixing it with riders like Dean Harrison and Ivan Lintin.
His successes see him jump 22 places in the Duke Road Race rankings to 26th.
Colin’s next event is the Armoy Road Race this weekend.
