Jack Senior had a mixed few days at the Challenge Tour’s Made in Denmark Challenge.
Travelling straight from his success in qualifying for the Open, the Heysham ace continued his fine form in the opening two rounds.
Back-to-back 67s put Senior just one shot off the lead at the halway point in Aalborg, but things then fell away over the weekend.
Rounds of 76 and 74 brought the former Walker Cup star back to level par as he finished tied for 36th.
Bernd Ritthammer secured a maiden European Challenge Tour title after shooting a four under par 67 in the final round to finish on 12 under par, one shot clear of the rest of the field.
Senior now has a free week ahead of the Open getting underway at Royal Troon on July 14.
