The Vale of Lune held their 21st Annual Player’s Awards evening on Saturday, the excitement and tension that this popular event generates did not lack its usual intensity and humour as players and club members celebrated the individual and collective achievements of the previous season.
All the coaches, team managers and captains recognised the spirit to be found within the club, this atmosphere was not only tangible at the award’s evening but can be found in the clubhouse on match days. The award winners were:

While the Vale of Lune await their North One West fixtures for the 2016/17 season two warm up games have been pencilled against clubs who compete in Midlands One West.
On Saturday, August 13 the Vale will travel to Crewe and Nantwich and the following Saturday they will entertain Stoke-on-Trent.
