Torrisholme were heavily beaten by Palace Shield Premier Division leaders Fulwood and Broughton on Saturday.
The hosts posted 235 for 8 batting first at Highfield before dismissing Matt Jackson’s men for just 74 to win by 161 runs.
James Cookson starred with the ball for Torrisholme, taking 5-42 from his 10 overs but it wasn’t enough to prevent Fulwood from posting an imposing total.
Charlie Rossiter top scored with 61 before becoming Graham Lee’s one and only wicket, caught by Jackson, with Ben Parkinson also making 60 as the pair set a platform at the top of the order that ultimately proved decisive.
Captain Mark Smith also made 34 opening the innings while Richard Turner chipped in with 32.
Torrisholme were blown away in reply, openers Darrren Moore (14) and Daniel Woods (12), along with Chris Parry (18), the only men to make double figures.
Fulwood shared the wickets around with Chris Brookes and Usman Sadaqat taking three apiece.
