Karting: Thomas claims first win of season at Three Sisters Circuit

He won all three of the qualifying heats and then won the final by three seconds.

He didn’t know if he would be able to race until the last minute however due to damaging the kart the previous weekend in the Cheshire championship.

However, the team managed to straighten the chassis and replace the damaged parts on the Saturday morning ready for practice.

Thomas now tops the championship table but it is still early in the season, with eight races still to go.

Thomas lives in Morecambe and attends Our Lady’s Catholic College.
