Isaac Lowe is confident there will be a memorable Morecambe double next month.

The unbeaten Westgate Warrior is set to make the first defence of his English featherweight title at the Manchester Arena on November 21 before flying out to Germany support his good friend Tyson Fury when he battles Wladimir Klitschko seven days later.

Lowe will feature on the undercard of Anthony Crolla’s world title rematch with Darleys Perez with Fury then taking on the Ukrainian heavyweight ruler for the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO titles at the Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf on November 28.

Lowe, who stopped Jamie Speight in the ninth round to lift the English title in Leeds back in September, said: “I’m looking forward to my fight and then I’ll be heading over to Germany.

“The double would be great.

“I’ve got all the faith in the world that Tyson is going to beat Klitschko.

“If it goes to points it might be hard to win over there but it wouldn’t surprise me if in the 10th or 11th round Tyson knocked him out.

“He’ll be in the condition of his life.

“It would be great not just for Lancaster and Morecambe but for Britain as well to have the world heavyweight champion.

“We’re both unbeaten I’m confident it’s going to stay that way.”

The former Lancaster Boxing Academy fighter is back training in Doncaster with coaches Dave Hulley and James Harrington ahead of what is set to be another big night live on Sky Sports.

He said: “I’m back training over in Doncaster.

“I had a bit of an injury scare when I pulled my back but thankfully it’s okay and feeling good now.

“I training three times a day with weights or circuits in the morning, a four or five mile run in the afternoon and then boxing in the evening.

“I’m feeling great and looking forward to November 21.”
