Rob and fellow organiser Sam Holmes are both stepping down from their posts and both were praised by the three local clubs for the way they have contributed towards the success of what has now become one of the north’s most eagerly awaited golfing tournaments. This year more than 2,000 golfers were involved.
The revenues raised by them will be distributed to Morecambe, Lancaster and Heysham and donations will be made to St John’s Hospice.
