Stars come out for Lancaster City skipper's testimonial dinner
World boxing champion Anthony Crolla and former Liverpool great David Johnson were amongst the guests at a testimonial dinner for retiring Lancaster City skipper Neil Marshall on Friday night.
A packed Lancaster Town Hall paid tribute to the central defender who has brought down the curtain on a 10-year career due to an on-going battle with cancer.
The night, which was also attended my Mayor of Lancaster Robert Redfern and featured an auction and performance from comedian Mark Langley, raised nearly £8,500 for Marshall and his family.
