Slyne-with-Hest too good for Burnley United
Slyne-with-Hest were 4-1 winners at Burnley United in the West Lancashire Premier Division on Saturday.
A 28th-minute goal from former Lancaster City winger Reece Pearce broke the deadlock at Barden Lane for Ian Roe’s seventh-placed side.
Slyne then pulled clear in the second half as they romped to victory against the second from bottom East Lancashire side.

Hide AdDanny Dixon doubled the Bottomdale Road outfit’s lead on the hour mark with an own goal making it three five minutes from time.
Mike Hodson did pull a goal back for Burnley two minutes from time but Tom Entwistle made sure of the points in the final minute with Slyne’s fourth.
This Saturday, March 5, Slyne travel to bottom side Lostock St Gerards.
